Adult German & Chinese Classes

DEUTSCHE SPRACHKURSE

Adult Language Classes

All classes are taught by a native or near native speaker and include various, rotating cultural topics and activities for each session. The cultural experiences involve learning some aspect of German or Chinese culture and an opportunity to practice speaking skills and/or build vocabulary.

German Adult Class Information

Dates & Times: 9/23/25 - 1/27/26; No class: 11/11, 11/25, 12/23, 12/30/25

Class will be held on Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m.  

Cost: $340

Beginners: Basic vocabulary & simple conversations (no prior knowledge)

Advanced Beginner: Builds on basics; short social dialogs (basic knowledge)

Intermediate: More vocabulary, creative writing, advanced dialogs (some knowledge)

Advanced: Complex grammar & writing (strong knowledge)

Conversation Group: Cinema & Literature: For fluent speakers (strong knowledge)

Chinese Adult Class Information

Beginners and Advanced Beginners Classes

Beginner Class (online):

Dates & Times: 9/23/25 - 1/20/26; No class: 11/25, 12/23 & 12/30

Classes will be held on Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Intermediate Class (in Person) :

Dates & Times: 9/23/25 - 1/27/26; No class: 11/11, 11/25, 12/23 & 12/30/25

Class will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. The final week day will be finalized in August 2025.
